Our Story

Designed in Sussex and crafted in a small workshop in Kathmandu, Nepal, our knitwear showcases the finest Nepalese pashmina.

The brand's origins are rooted in the personal journey of its English founder, Alfie Maiklem, who has strong ties to Nepal after visiting friends and family during his first trip in 2018.

Amidst the vibrant streets of Kathmandu and the serene Himalayan foothills, Alfie discovered a centuries-old tradition of crafting the finest cashmere and pashmina. Inspired by the artistry and touched by the challenges faced by local communities, he set out to create a brand that would make a difference.

Brand Values

Highest Quality

We use only the highest quality pashmina, which is combed from the undercoat of the Chyangra Pashmina goat. It is internationally recognised as the highest grade of cashmere, and is the world's most revered luxury fibre.

Giving Back

With every scarf sold, we donate £10 to Bring Back the Smile to Nepal, a charity that helps rebuild lives and communities in Nepal. Your money will go towards projects such as; school equipment & uniform funding, period poverty & education, smoke-free & sustainable cooker installation, and women’s enterprise: helping women become self-sufficient.

Limited & Thoughtful Production

We produce in small batches, prioritising quality over quantity and offering a meaningful alternative to mass production. This also means your item will be super unique and exclusive.

The Collection

Each collection is a refined selection of timeless scarves, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Our focus is on unmatched quality, ensuring every piece is soft, warm, and effortlessly elegant. Made in limited quantities, each scarf embodies artistry and exclusivity.

"Our scarves are more than just accessories; they are a celebration of Nepalese craftsmanship, designed for those who appreciate quality and heritage."

— Alfie Maiklem, Founder
